Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

 Annapurna Base Camp/Sanctuary Trek.
The Annapurna Wilderness is connected by an expansive network of trails that link the Circuit and Sanctuary treks. The Sanctuary is the shorter of the two, with the finish line at Annapurna Base Camp 4,130m and 360-degree view of the range. The twelve days trek begins in the rain forest before heading into the high mountains. Though there is only one trail leading to the base camp, there are a couple of ways before one gets to the single route. This Sanctuary trek traverses a variety of terrain, different cultures and landscapes that speak volumes in its own ways. This is a trek of fine opportunity to surround oneself with Himalayan peaks in a short time, without having to contend with altitude problem. Though the only major trekking route in Nepal that has considerable avalanche danger, But there are alternative safety trail avoiding it overall.
The glaciated and snow covered peaks of the Sanctuary form a spectacular barrier .Dazzling views confront us as we trek up through the last permanent settlements to the Machapuchare Base Camp (3729m) where we are rewarded with superb views of 'Fishtail' mountain. While here we will also visit the Annapurna South Base camp.
